The Art and Craft of Storytelling: A Writing Workshop
Stories live through language. We rely on carefully chosen words to carry plot, convey ideas, create mood, determine time and narrative distance, establish setting, and flesh out characters. With our opening lines we invite readers in. Then we move with them, line by line, hoping to keep them with us to the end. Open to adults interested in working on fiction, memoir, narrative poetry, or creative nonfiction. Ongoing. Six-week sessions.
Bold Point Literary Society
Reading and discussion of all things literary and relevant to the world around and within us, for residents of Tockwotton on the Waterfront, a senior living community. Ongoing, monthly. www.tockwotton.org/about-us/
